We are situated in West Devon in the heart of the Westcountry on the edge of Dartmoor in the valley close to where the rivers Lyd and Thrushel meet, just a mile from the Devon/Cornwall border, in the area known as "The land of rivers and moors". Tinhay Mill lies between 3 historic market towns, Okehampton, Tavistock (with Buckland Abbey, Sir Francis Drake's birthplace) and across the River Tamar into Cornwall, Launceston (a quaint little town with its museum and Norman castle.
