Business Overview

We work on a variety of jobs from small domestic jobs through to commercial and public sector projects. Despite being mainly a structural engineering company, Millam has the facilities to undertake Architectural design work when requested. We pride ourselves on offering a considered design, offering flush finishes where possible and generally reducing the size of structural elements to minimise the impact of the structure on the aesthetics. Often projects depend more on the details than the member design, at Millam we ensure that all key details are generated to assist in intergrating the structure into the architecture whilst also helping buildability. We undertake designs in an array of materials from the more commonly used steel, concrete and timber to bespoke materials such as glass and aluminium, this enables Millam to undertake more complex design projects.
